Dylan Leonard Brown, SHRM-CP — FOunder of Rowan Advisory
For more than twenty years, I have supported principals, families, and executives at the highest levels — from ultra-high-net-worth households and U.S. diplomats to senior leaders in the fast-paced biotech world. My work has always centered on creating order in complex environments, with a focus on trust, discretion, and seamless execution.
Through Rowan Advisory, I bring this experience back to New England, helping families design and sustain the structures that keep their lives running smoothly. I hold degrees from Northeastern University and Boston University, with advanced study at Cornell’s ILR School, and my perspective on the evolving private service profession has been featured in The New York Times article “The New Domestics.”
What Principals value most:
Fractional support model: I built Rowan Advisory on the idea that world-class expertise should be available in a fractional model, giving families the flexibility to scale support up or down as needs evolve.
Credibility and trust: I’ve been entrusted by ambassadors, public figures, and corporate executives.
Cross-domain expertise: Corporate HR leadership, estate oversight, and event management combined.
Direct partnership: When you work with me, you work directly with the person who has done the work.

Where WE GET OUR Name
Rowan Advisory is named after Rowan, a golden retriever whose presence reflects the steadiness, loyalty, and trust at the core of the firm’s work. Those same qualities guide how Rowan Advisory supports principals and families — with dependable, thoughtful oversight, particularly in complex or high-touch environments.
